One must review it in that context. The tab closure holds pretty well, the case is padded enough and hard-edged enough to protect the Kindle if I drop it, you can fold the cover all the way to the back without any effort to hold it there, it's got an inside pocket for sticking papers in, and it doesn't get in the way of the buttons. Did I mention it's inexpensive? Yes, the leather feels cheap (I questions if it's really leather). So what? All the spaces for the keys are spaced just right for easy access to the buttons. Leather should be pretty durable, especially for a 9-year-old using it. You can't beat the price at about $9.00 compared to the average price for a cover at $30.00. I absolutely recommend a cover for protection, and at this price, you can't beat it. 23 of 26 people found the following review helpful: ![]() This review is from: JKase(TM) Custom Fit Folio Leather Case Cover for Latest Generation 2011 Kindle 4 Wi-Fi 6" E Ink Display (Black) (Electronics) The fit is snug; however, it fails the tilt test. So long as you hold it upright, you'll be OK. The device to just slips and falls when held upside-down. So, don't do that. |
